Route Overview
The Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST) is a 110-mile loop circling Florida's massive Lake Okeechobee atop the 35-foot-high Herbert Hoover Dike. This distinctive trail features over half its length as an eight-foot-wide paved pathway, with the remaining portions consisting of gravel roadway. The trail's elevation offers sweeping views of America's second-largest freshwater lake and the surrounding landscape.
