Route Description
The EmsRadweg cycling route begins near the town of Hövelhof, where the source of the Ems river is located, and leads to its mouth in Emden, near the Baltic Sea and the Dutch border. The route is 385 km long and, as it runs along the river the entire time, it is quite flat. Due to this flat profile, the EmsRadweg cycling trail can be classified as fairly easy and suitable for any cyclist.
The time needed to complete this route varies from 5 to 8 days.
