The North Line Trail (also known as North Carolina Bicycle Route 4) is approximately 400 miles long and passes through many small towns in North Carolina. The route runs from inland, Piney Creek, all the way to the coast at Virginia Beach.
The trail passes through several national parks including Hanging Rock State Park, Pilot Mountain State Park, and Stone Mountain State Park. Along the way, you'll also encounter two lakes - Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston - as well as the Dismal Swamp.
