The Elbe River Trail (Czechia)
Route Description
The Czech section of the Elbe River Trail (Labský cyklostezka) spans 380 km, with an additional 80 km loop through Mělník - Prague - Čelákovice. The trail combines natural scenery along the Elbe River with cultural attractions, making it ideal for both day trips and long-distance cycling tours. Its gentle gradient and well-maintained infrastructure make it particularly appealing for families and casual cyclists. The route follows National Cycling Route CT 2 from Vrchlabí to Dolní Žleb and is part of two major European cycling networks: EuroVelo 7 (Prague to Hřensko) and EuroVelo 4 (Toušeň - Kolín section).
