The Váh River Cycling Route is Slovakia's oldest cycling trail, spanning across four regions: Nitra, Trnava, Trenčín, and Žilina. This historic route covers nearly 249 kilometers of marked paths, with its longest continuous section stretching 166 kilometers from Hlohovec to Strečno.
Route Description
The route follows the picturesque Váh River valley, combining dedicated cycling paths, canal-side routes, and local roads. It's suitable for hybrid and touring bikes, offering a mix of paved and well-maintained gravel surfaces.
